In a low-scoring contest, Grim pitcher Cecil Cornett was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-0 win. Gerald Delgado recorded the save for Grim, his 1st of the season. The Reapers raised their record to 27-44.

Cornett imposed his will on the Gallos, scattering 2 hits over 8 innings while striking out 8. The left-hander upped his season record to 4-6.
