Liberty Pick Up 7-5 Win
The Philadelphia Liberty had to overcome a big game from Toronto shortstop Michael Barry to leave Liberty Park with a victory. And they did, winning, 7-5. Barry went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. At 2-0, the Liberty have played well so far.

Philadelphia got a big at-bat from Iquique, Chile native Carlos Martínez, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Liberty ahead, 5-0.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Martínez.
