Herons Score Late to Nip Blue Dragons, 5-4

The Holy City Herons topped the Levittown Blue Dragons, 5-4, at Mango Yard. Holy City second baseman Lance Morgan was a spark plug for the offense. He was 2-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Marcos Cardova, now 3-4, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Holy City.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Holy City. That's when Nathaniel Heath hit a run-scoring double off 21-year old left-handed pitcher Ángel García to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
