The Holy City Herons topped the Levittown Blue Dragons, 2-0, in USSL Single A action at Mango Yard. The game was highlighted by the performance of Holy City pitcher Koukalaka Ala. Ala got the win, improving to 7-1. He gave up 3 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. He allowed no runs. Marcos Cardova picked up the save for Holy City, his 11th of the year.

Travis Junior, who is tied for 10th in the SA in triples with 2, took Levittown hurler Michael Campbell deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Herons on top, 2-0. In all, Junior had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"First place," said Herons manager Ralph Horn. "This is right where we want to be."
