The Grand Forks Caterpillars spoiled a good performance by Yucca Valley first baseman Xavier Hernández, bumping off Yucca Valley, 11-8, at The Cocoon. Hernández was 4-5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 runs. The win went to Sean Lewis in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Pancho Lizalda took the loss. The Caterpillars now have a mark of 35-57.
