The Newmarket Rogues downed the Cut Off Crawdads, 5-0, at Rogues Stadium. Stellar pitching by Bob Scott had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. The 'W' lifts Newmarket's record to 7-17.

Newmarket got a big at-bat from Lorain, Ohio native Dave Hansen, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Rogues ahead, 3-0.

"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Hansen after the game.
