Put-In-Bay turned a fine outing from starter Donald Huffman into a victory over the Kennesaw Jets at Jets Stadium. The final score was 3-1. Vicente Fernández finished the game for Put-In-Bay and earned his 6th save. Put-In-Bay is now 14-21.

Put-In-Bay used the clutch hitting of Marty Barber to snag the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Commodores ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Kennesaw manager Roberto Ríos.
