Hermit Crabs Need Extra Frames to Get Past Jets
Huntington starter Luke Kipling pitched well against the Kennesaw Jets at The Shell. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. Huntington reliever Joe García snagged the win, upping his record to 2-1. Marlon Henderson shouldered the loss. With the win, Huntington pushed its record to 21-17.

The decisive moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Huntington. That's when Martín Vargas hit a run-scoring triple off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Marlon Henderson to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"I still think this team can play even better," Vargas told the Huntington News.
