The Smoky Mountain Hobeaus defeated the Chicago Tula, 8-4. Third Baseman Jian-guo Cuan deserved a large share of the credit. Cuan was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Hobeaus. Smoky Mountain, now 18-21, holds down 7th place in the Premier A.

Early in the game, Cuan had a 2-run double for Smoky Mountain. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Hobeaus on top, 2-0.
