Torres Buzzsaws Lake Erie Bats in 3-0 Win
|
The Newmarket Rogues got a strong performance from pitcher Pedro Torres, who stymied the Lake Erie offense en route to a win, 3-0, at Rogues Stadium. The last-place Rogues now have a win-loss record of 13-26.
The Arryns had their hands full with Torres, who overpowered Lake Erie hitters while racking up 13 strikeouts.
"Pedro is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Newmarket manager Clay Myers.
