Jets Stadium was the site of some high drama.

The Kennesaw Jets got a stellar effort from pitcher Edgar O'Curran, helping Kennesaw score a win over the visiting Eugene Vandals, 2-1. The win has Kennesaw at 15-26.

The decisive blow was delivered by Vonne Cutillar in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Edgar Liriano to win the game for Kennesaw. The home crowd went nuts.

"Good ballgame," said Eugene manager Milton Mathews. "But we came up on the short end."
