Eugene right fielder Li-ping Niu contributed significantly to his team's 10-4 win over the Chicago Tula. Niu, who is tied for 10th in the PA in bases on balls with 17, went 3 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Vandals. Declan Phelps nailed down his 1st save. Eugene has run its win streak to 5 straight.

Early in the game, center fielder Kelly Dingwell had a bases-clearing double for Eugene. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Vandals on top, 4-1.
