Blaze left fielder Salvador Silva left his imprint on his team's 6-4 win over the Huntington Hermit Crabs. Silva went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for South Beach in the contest. José Castro, the winning pitcher, improved to 8-1. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2. With the win, the Blaze improved to 27-17.

South Beach grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Silva hit a grand slam home run off Jack Jennings. His 1st home run of the season put the Blaze out in front, 5-1.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Silva told the South Beach Daily.
