No one was more impactful than Jonathan King in the 7-5 Huntington win over Monroeville. King, who is tied for 10th in the PA in RBI with 23, was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Christian Sandoval in relief. His record improves to 6-1. Richard Roche took the loss. The Hermit Crabs go to 26-20, putting them first in the Premier A.

Huntington used the timely hitting of Tim Moore to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hermit Crabs on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"In this profession, you've got to put the good and the bad behind you quickly," Monroeville skipper Todd Hunter said.
