Hermit Crabs Drop Close One Late
The Lake Erie Arryns picked up a win at Arryns Ballpark, dropping the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 6-5, in 12 innings. Jesse Simmons was the difference-maker. Lake Erie reliever Cecil Miller was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Joe García took the loss. Lake Erie sits in second place in the Premier A at 29-19.

The Arryns got a clutch hit from shortstop Phil Jackson. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Arryns.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Simmons.
