The Lake Erie Arryns took on the Chicago Tula at Ramblers Ballpark.

Lake Erie pitcher Rick Walton had a large part in his team beating the Chicago Tula, 6-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The win puts Lake Erie at 31-19 this season.

Lake Erie used the hitting of Larry Gunther to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Arryns on top, 5-1. For the game, Gunther had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
