Shane Park, who is tied for 10th in the PA in strikeouts with 52, was locked in. The right-hander led the Eugene Vandals to a 6-3 win against the Huntington Hermit Crabs at The Shell. The save went to Denis Morris, his 5th this season. The 'W' lifts Eugene's record to 28-23.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Kelly Dingwell? The Eugene center fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Vandals on top, 3-0. For the game, Dingwell had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
