Hermit Crabs Win 5-4 Walk-Off
|
The Huntington Hermit Crabs found a way to sneak past the Cut Off Crawdads, 5-4, in 10 innings. Huntington pitcher Ángel Núñez, for one, had a standout performance. Joe García snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 1.2 innings. He's now 3-2 on the season. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Huntington.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Huntington pinch hitter Brody Browne, facing Carl Roy, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Hermit Crabs the 5-4 win.
"I felt good up there," said Browne. "I saw the ball well."
