Rogues Rally Late to Clip Eugene
Newmarket Rogues starter David Ramos turned in a top-notch performance against the Eugene Vandals at The Riot Zone. The result was a win for the Rogues, 3-2. Sean Ellis collected save number 11. The 9th-place Rogues improved to 22-32.

Redondo Beach, California-born Jorge Zamboca came through in the clutch. In the top of the ninth, with the bases loaded and the Rogues trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single to right to put Newmarket on top.

"When David is on, he can really move the ball around," said Newmarket manager Clay Myers.
