Commodores Reel Off Another Win
The Put-In-Bay Commodores outlasted Ekata Sasthi and the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 8-6. Sasthi was impressive in the loss. The Huntington shortstop was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Vicente Fernández earned the save, his 14th. The 7th-place Commodores have won 6 in a row.

Javier Peña aided the Put-In-Bay cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4.

"This team is real focused right now," said Put-In-Bay manager José Trejo.
