Yoshinori Murakami left his imprint on the 4-2 Kennesaw win against the Put-In-Bay Commodores. Murakami, who is tied for 10th in the PA in doubles with 12, went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. Kennesaw, with the win, sits at 23-45.

Kennesaw used the bat of Neill Barthen to get the win. The shortstop spanked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Jets ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it altered the outcome.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Put-In-Bay skipper José Trejo, "and it cost us."
