The Chicago Tula defeated the Newmarket Rogues, 6-4, in USPL Single A action at Ramblers Ballpark. Chicago pitcher Stanley Rowe had a standout performance. Bob Simpson nailed down his 8th save. The defeat makes Newmarket 29-43.

Left Fielder Arnold Jenkins made an impact for Chicago, when he swatted a run-scoring triple off Simak Vehuny in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Jenkins was 2 for 4 with a triple.

"I still think this team can play even better," Rowe told the Chicago Citizen.
