Jets Rally Late to Nip Liberty U-24
The Kennesaw Jets topped the Philadelphia Liberty U-24, 4-3, at Jets Stadium. Kennesaw left fielder Rafael Valentín was a spark plug for the offense. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Jets move to 38-45 with the win, while the Liberty U-24 drop to 51-32.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Kennesaw trailing 3-2, Valentín jumped on a fastball from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Jacob Hewitt and hit a 2-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Jets had a walk-off win.

"It was bedlam at the end," Valentín said.
