Cut Off catcher Donnie Harris was instrumental in helping the Crawdads triumph, 5-4, over the Kennesaw Jets. Harris went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Diego Ramírez, credited with the win in relief, is now 5-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 0.2 innings. Cut Off raised its record to 53-35 with the win.
Harris had a timely hit for Cut Off in the bottom of the eighth. With Cut Off trailing 4-3, he turned a 0-1 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Cut Off.
