Sea Dogs Drop Hounds, 2-0, Behind Barnes
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Maine Sea Dogs and Hicksville Hounds.
In a low-scoring contest, Maine pitcher Jerry Barnes was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-0 win. The loss drops Hicksville to 12-6.
The Hounds had trouble solving Barnes, who surrendered no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"Jerry pitched his heart out," said Maine manager Pedro Hernández.
