A 4-RBI performance from the 21-year old second baseman Kei-thing Yei helped the Tijuana Toros beat the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 8-4. Charles Bailey got credit for the win, improving to 4-0. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings. Clint Clifton recorded the save for Tijuana, his 8th of the season.

Claudio Barbosa cracked a home run off Myron Carter in the bottom of the second. His 2-run blast put the Toros on top, 2-0. In all, Barbosa had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Derek Jones said.

The 4th-place Toros hiked their record to 15-12.
