Howard Shines in 3-2 Ogallala Win
Tom Howard knocked in all 3 runs for the Ogallala Octopi, helping them beat the Amarillo Warheads, 3-2. Mark Conner, 3-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. Ogallala is in second place in the Silver Low A with a record of 17-10.

Ogallala took a 3-2 lead on Howard's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Lau-po Cuan in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Ogallala to the win.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Amarillo manager José López.
