The Ogallala Octopi beat the Watford City Trash Pandas, 4-3, at Trash Panda Field. Augusto Salcido, who is tied for 2nd in the SA- in stolen bases with 4, starred for Ogallala. He was 3-4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The save went to José Barticer, number 2 for him. With the win, the Octopi improved to 18-11.

With Ogallala leading 2-1 in the top of the seventh, Salcido hit a run-scoring single off Watford City hurler Kevin Thompson. It was the 32nd hit of the season for Salcido and put his team ahead, 3-1.
