Drooping Angel Kitties Lose 8th Straight
With Chris Fowler leading the charge, the Shady Side Zoomies defeated the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 8-5. Fowler went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Zoomies. Shady Side pitcher Lorenzo Hernández got the win, upping his record to 2-1. Jelle Boermeester got the loss. Bethlehem has now lost 8 in a row.

In the top of the eighth, Fowler put his team in front with his 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came against Jelle Boermeester, made it 8-5, Shady Side.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Shady Side manager Ralph Gilbert.
