The Hicksville Hounds picked up a win at Kittie Park, downing the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 5-3. On the mound for Hicksville was right-hander Alex Burgess, who played a pivotal role in the win. Burgess, now 4-1, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 10 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 3 runs. Leland Timms picked up his 11th save of the season.

With two out in the top of the seventh, Albert Leach had a game-changing hit. The Hounds left fielder slammed a run-scoring single off Remke Wisse, making the score 5-3, Hicksville.
