Liberty U-21 Deal Toros Painful Loss
The Philadelphia Liberty U-21 defeated the Tijuana Toros, 6-5. Catcher Ross Brice deserved a large share of the credit. Brice went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Liberty U-21. Philadelphia reliever Esteban Rodríguez picked up the win to move to 2-0. Yin-reng Guo suffered the loss. Philadelphia has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the ninth when Shannon Fowler hit a solo home run off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Yin-reng Guo to win the game for Philadelphia. The home crowd went wild.

"This place was rockin'," Fowler said.
