Baby Lakers Take Down Sea Dogs, 5-4

Field of the Browns played host to some real drama.
Tommy Kramer, who is tied for 10th in the SA- in strikeouts with 40, was locked in. The right-hander led the Bompton Baby Lakers to a 5-4 win against the Maine Sea Dogs at Field of the Browns. Kurt Morse was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-2. The losing pitcher was Toa Miriyan.
Chris Tidwell clinched the win with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the tenth. In the game, the Bompton center fielder drove in one run.
"We had a chance to win," said Maine manager Pedro Hernández, "but we didn't get it done."
Bompton is now 15-22, Maine 17-20.
