Angel Kitties Get One-Run Win at Ogallala
|
The Bethlehem Angel Kitties claimed a close win over the Ogallala Octopi, due in large part to Darryl Nixon. The Bethlehem right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. Nixon picked up the win for Bethlehem, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 2-3. The Angel Kitties improved their record to 15-22 with the win over Ogallala.
Bethlehem used the hitting of Jason Nelson to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Angel Kitties on top, 2-0. For the game, Nelson had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
