|
Watford City designated hitter António Villarreal had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Villarreal went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, even as Ladue beat the Trash Pandas, 6-3. The winning pitcher was Moeaktola Alkira. His record now stands at 3-2. The left-hander went 8 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits for the Rams. The save was credited to Tim Ashe, his 3rd.
Feleti Kalolo, who is rated as the 67th best prospect by BNN, aided the Ladue cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.
