The Tijuana Toros claimed a close win over the Amarillo Warheads, due in large part to Reggie Franks. The Tijuana right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. Xin Zhan finished to wrap up his 1st save. Tijuana now has a record of 23-16 with the win.

Second Baseman Kei-thing Yei made an impact for Tijuana, when he swatted a run-scoring triple off Jimmy Numbers in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Yei was 1-3 with a triple.

"Runs were at a premium," said Tijuana manager Derek Jones.
