Fading Sea Dogs Lose 6th Straight
Alex Burgess, who is tied for 10th in the SA- with a 7.9 K/9 rate, had a strong outing for the Hicksville Hounds against the Maine Sea Dogs at Hound Pound. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. The win belonged to Javier Mejía in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Sam Sullivan took the loss for Maine. Leland Timms collected his 14th save.

Sammy Glendenning went 1-2 with 2 walks for Hicksville. The 21-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Sam Sullivan. It was his 5th walk of the season.
