Ogallala pitcher Jason Roy had a large part in his team subduing the Shady Side Zoomies, 3-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Mark Conner, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2061 draft, nailed down the save. The Octopi, at 25-15, have now won 4 straight.

Ogallala starter Jason Roy was exceptional. The 5-foot-11 right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings of work.

"Jason was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Ogallala manager Dewitt Hopper.
