Crossbeaus Win at Bethlehem, 4-0

Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Beaumont Crossbeaus and Bethlehem Angel Kitties.
Beaumont Crossbeaus starter Jorge López turned in an exceptional performance against the Bethlehem Angel Kitties at Kittie Park, resulting in a Beaumont win, 4-0. López, now 3-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Rory Sherman earned the save for Beaumont, his 7th.
The Crossbeaus got a big at-bat from first baseman Cédric Fabre. For the game, Fabre went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Beaumont a 2-0 lead.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Beaumont manager Dan Fletcher. "It's usually not just one thing."
The victory gives Beaumont a record of 20-20.
