8-3 Loss to Shockers Extends Amarillo Losing Streak
The skies opened up and the rain fell at Shockers Field.

Surprise first baseman Nick Chamberlain was instrumental in helping the Shockers triumph, 8-3, over the Amarillo Warheads. Chamberlain went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was Christian Craigen. His record now stands at 3-2. The left-hander went 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits for the Shockers.

Nathaniel Heath went 1-4 with a walk against the Warheads. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, putting Surprise in front, 1-0.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Chamberlain.
