Warheads Lose By a Run at Beaumont
Amarillo catcher José Juárez was sensational. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Beaumont beat the Warheads, 6-5. At 21-22, the Crossbeaus claim 5th place in the Silver Low A.

Beaumont third baseman Alfonso Torres contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 27th hit of the season and put the Crossbeaus ahead, 3-1.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Beaumont manager Dan Fletcher.
