Holloway, Ladue Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
Ladue pitcher Duncan Holloway did his part in helping his team defeat the Maine Sea Dogs, 1-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Picking up his 4th save was 19-year old right-handed pitcher Tim Ashe. The Rams raised their record to 20-24.

Holloway, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 8 innings for the Rams. For the most part, Maine hitters were simply overmatched.

"Duncan is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Ladue manager Ricardo Varela.
