Tijuana beat Ogallala at Toros Ballpark, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to shortstop Kei-thing Yei. He was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Reggie Franks was the winner. Over 9 innings, he yielded 5 runs on 7 hits, with no walks and 14 strikeouts. The 4th-place Octopi have lost 4 consecutive games.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Tijuana trailing 5-4, Yei hit a fastball from Layton Irving for a 2-run home run, giving the Toros the walk-off win.
