Liberty U-21 Reel Off Another Win
Philadelphia Liberty U-21 starter Pedro Mejía hurled his team past the Shady Side Zoomies, 1-0. The save was credited to Robbie de Groot, his 17th. Philadelphia, at 37-8, is 8½ games up in the Silver Low A.

Jim Klein was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk for Philadelphia. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, Klein, who is tied for 6th in the SA- in RBI with 29, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Shady Side hurler Lorenzo Hernández, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Liberty U-21 a 1-0 lead.
