In a low-scoring tilt between the Amarillo Warheads and the Ogallala Octopi, Pepe García, who is tied for 3rd in the SA- with a 0.93 WHIP, was the difference-maker. The Amarillo right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Lau-po Cuan came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-1. Ogallala has now lost 6 in a row.

Had Juan García not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, García hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Warheads.
