Matsuoka Socks 2 Homers in 6-5 Win
A good performance from third baseman Mashashi Matsuoka helped the Ogallala Octopi defeat the Amarillo Warheads, 6-5. Matsuoka went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Octopi. Greg Stone got the win, improving to 3-3. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 5 hits and 1 run, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Ogallala is now 26-21.

Roberto Caro had a big hit for Ogallala in the top of the fourth inning. With Ogallala leading 2-1, Caro hit a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Octopi up, 4-1.
