Octopi Earn Win with Late Rally
A good performance from first baseman Miguel Sierra helped the Ogallala Octopi defeat the Ladue Rams, 7-6. Sierra went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Octopi. Ebbe Oude Nijhuis earned the save for Ogallala. With the win, Ogallala goes to 26-21, while the Rams fall to 21-26.

Ogallala needed the clutch hitting of Tsukasa Takata to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Octopi on top, 7-4. For the game, Takata had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Takata.
