Beaumont turned a good performance from starting pitcher Earl DeGraw into a 3-2 triumph over the Surprise Shockers at The Target. Andrés Pérez closed the game out for Beaumont, earning his 2nd save. The Crossbeaus raised their record to 24-24.
Beaumont designated hitter Ikki Fujihara landed a blow when he belted a solo home run in the bottom of the third. It was his 3rd home run of the season. With it, the Crossbeaus took a 3-2 lead.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Beaumont skipper Dan Fletcher. "I can't complain."
