The Amarillo Warheads besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Hicksville shortstop Pyeong-min Pak by beating the Hounds, 6-5, at Ballpark of Henderson. Pak went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Bob Bradley earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record is now 3-0. Alex Martin nailed down the save.

The Warheads got a big at-bat from right fielder António Encarnación, who in the bottom of the first hit a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Warheads on top, 3-0.

Encarnación told the Amarillo Chronicle: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."

The second-place Warheads sport a record of 28-20.
