Angel Kitties Earn Late Win
|
Due in part to left fielder Aleksandr Samorukov, the Bethlehem Angel Kitties chopped down the Surprise Shockers, 5-4, in 13 innings. Samorukov went 5-7 with 5 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The 9th-place Angel Kitties bumped their record to 22-28.
The Angel Kitties relied on second baseman Lanakila Putupu for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 13th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
Samorukov said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
