Shady Side Loses Again
Shady Side center fielder Pete Bullard was sensational. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Tijuana beat the Zoomies, 8-6. Charles Bailey, who is tied for 8th in the SA- in quality starts with 7, was the winner. He's now 6-1. The loser was Jung-keun Kim. Yin-reng Guo finished to wrap up his 2nd save.

Tijuana used the timely hitting of António Muñóz to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Toros on top, 8-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"I like how we're playing right now," said Muñóz.

The 7th-place Zoomies have lost 7 consecutive games.
