Baby Lakers 3-2 Losers to Surprise

The Bompton Baby Lakers went down to defeat to Kyle Wilson and his Surprise teammates. The final score was 3-2, in favor of the Shockers. Wilson got the win, improving to 5-5. He gave up 3 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. Ángelo Torres earned save number 3 this season.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Shockers had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when first baseman Héctor Luna hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Tommy Kramer and made the score 3-1, Shockers. Luna went 2 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Bompton manager Tyrone Poole.
Surprise occupies third place in the Silver Low A at 35-27.
